6th International Conference on Advances in Computer and Communication Engineering (ACCE - 2020) was jointly organized by dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Science & engineering, which aims to focus and address the key issues in recent trends, advances and research results in the field of Computer and Communication Engineering through technical paper presentation and poster presentations. This conference is open to Students (UG and PG), Faculty, Research Scholars, Scientists and Industry professionals from within and outside India. All papers will be blind reviewed, accepted and presented papers will be published in peer reviewed journals and indexed in UGC approved journal (IJAER), google scholar, Mendeley (Elsevier) indexed Journals (IJIRAE, IJIRIS, IRJCS) with ISSN.
With a mission to impart the quality technical education to each and every segment of society, Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha (KRJS) coveted dream came into existence in 1999 with the beginning of Vemana Institute of Technology (Vemana IT), a premier institute in the heart of the Bengaluru city having vast land area of about 5 acres. Karnataka ReddyJana Sangha, one of the pioneers in the field of Education guided by a well-known Educationist Sri. H.N. Vijayaraghava Reddy. Vemana IT has started with 3 UG courses of 180 intake and progressively grown up to 6 UG courses with 600 intake, 3 PG programmes & 5 VTU approved Research centers. The institute is named after “Dharshanika Mahayogi Vemana” a saint of tall order and a social reformer who reached to the common people with his simple and straight forward Vemana Padyas’ they serve as the medicine for worldly ailments. He is our guiding spirit. Vemana IT is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka.
The Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department was established in the year 1999 and since its inception, the department has experienced an exponential growth.The department has VTU approved Research Centre. CSE has a total of 20 faculty members, each specialized in different domains of Computer Science and Engineering. In that 2 are Doctoral Degree faculty and 12 are pursuing a Doctoral degree in the same.The aim of the department is to create an excellent graduate to work in the field of Computer Science & Engineering by providing quality education, innovative teaching methods and technical aids.
The Information Science & Engineering (ISE) department was started in the year 2000 with an initial intake of 60 and the current intake is 120. The department's vision is to nourish the true spirit and wisdom of Information Technology in the minds of young aspirants. To achieve this goal, the department has 18 enthusiastic, young, diligent, and dedicated team of faculties with qualified professors having rich teaching experience. Our faculties have published more than 100 technical and research papers in the relevant fields of Information Technology. The department has proved itself to be consistent by achieving high percentage of results from the beginning.
